I have a good friend who is a building contractor, can he do a home inspection for me?

9.
We are moving into a new home, should we have it inspected and if so, why?

Answer, Yes, from our experience, we believe that it is just as important to have a new home inspected with the same detail as an older home. Although new home construction may be code inspected by the city or county inspectors, we have found in our experience, a variety of errors and potential safety hazards, such as hvac vents obstucted with debris or not attached to room registers. Crawlspace debris, missing moisture barrier and insulation not properly attached, missing hand railings, plumbing not connected and more.

10. What should I expect from a good pest inspection?

Answer, Confidence that your home is not being damaged by wood destroying organisms and a complete and accurate inspection report and site diagram showing pest, their signs, and conducive conditions.

11. Why should we choose your company to do the inspection ?

Answer; There are many home inspection companies that could do an okay job for you, and maybe charge less for their service. Of course, we have all the qualifications and hands-on experience to be certified home inspectors. We are not in this business to see how many home inspections we can do in a day, a week, or a year like other companies do. We really love what we do, and inspect each home as if our family would be moving in. We take our time, and will inspect no more than three homes per day. We exceed the necessary home inspection standards by far. If we get some insulation on the carpet from our attic inspection, we have a vacumn to clean-up. We think you'll agree, it's the big, and little things that count.

12. When do you expect payment for the home inspection ?

Answer;  On the day the inspection has been completed, we will give you the inspection report including an invoice to be paid in full at the end of our inspection.

13. Will you return for a re-inspection if necessary?

Answer;  Yes, if there is a punch list of item, or items that need to be addressed or negotiated, before the new owner will close on the home, we will be glad to come back for a re-inspection
at no charge to you.
